Since moving into my new apartment (okay, not that new. It has been eight months now, ha!), I was able to furnish and decorate the majority of my place pretty quick. The only space lacking a touch was behind the couch. It was this massive blank canvas, so I didn't want to just slap any ole piece of art up on the wall. The space was too expansive for one piece, so I knew immedietly I wanted to do a gallery wall. I shopped around for a few of the smaller pieces, but knew I was lacking a focal point to tie the entire wall together. Luckily, one of my favorite brands reached out in the nick of time.
Minted offers a well curated selection of art and wall decor. I've worked with Minted many times before, and my apartment is filled with several other gorgeous prints from their site. When it came time to choose the pieces for my gallery wall, I knew I wanted to pull from the colors of my colorful rug. I first found this framed picture of Cinque Terre. Above the Sea included almost all of the colors from my rug, with the addition of blue. I then chose the Minted Forest print, to pull from the green, and then the Fresh Bloom print to pull in the pink. I mixed the remainder of my Homegoods finds with the Minted pieces to create a gallery wall that I feel is cohesive and complimented my current decor. I'm from the South, so I love color! This was the best way to utilize color, without having to paint my walls.
I'm so excited how the gallery wall turned out! Best part is, I hung the entire thing myself. No help or man needed, ha! For the most part my place is finally complete. It's funny, but just by finishing this gallery wall my place feels so much more like a home! I love walking in the door to my colorful and happy apartment!
I highly recommend checking out Minted. I use their site for all of my print products as well, such as my Christmas cards and event invites. Their customer service is the best I've ever worked with, and each process of ordering an item is as smooth as can be. They also take great care in packaging and shipping their products, to ensure everything arrives in mint condition (see what I did there, ha!).
Thank you to Minted for partnering with me on today's post. While product was given as compensation, all photos and opinions are my own.
