Over the Weekend, Georgetown Blogger Crawl

Over the Weekend I attended my first DC Blogger Crawl. Hosted by Guest of a Guest DC and Spicy Candy DC, fifteen area bloggers met for a Saturday to shop around some of Georgetown's best stores, spas and end the day at Pinstripes Bowling Alley. At each location we learned more about the particular brand, the services or products they offered, and of course did a lot of shopping!

We started the morning at my favorite beauty store, Bluemercury.

We learned more about the various beauty brands they feature, sipped some delicious mimosas, and shopped for new products. I picked up a new lipstick, some moisturizing cream, and a few skincare products to try out this winter.

We then headed to Hela Spa, where I was one of two ambassadors for the store. I'll be sharing more about this particular stop of the crawl next Monday! Let's just say, I can't wait to head back soon for a facial and Vitamin B-12 Energy Boost. I was clearly ready for both on Saturday, ha!

After learning about one of DC's best spa's, we headed to Dr. Martens. While their shoes are not necessarily my style, I loved the setup of their store. They had their various shoes displayed on these floating shelves, lots of exposed brick and a large seating area for guests. I loved the mix of dark colored walls with the leather furniture accents.

I did find these cute boots, with a houndstooth lining and gold ribbon laces! I definitely would wear those with my skinny jeans and a large button down, plaid shirt this fall!

After enjoying some of my favorite cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcakes (definitely necessary on a crawl through Georgetown), he headed up Wisconsin Avenue to Reddz Trading. One of DC's best consignment shops, they sell some of the biggest name brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Manolo Blahnik and more.

I died over these gold Ivanka Trump pumps!! Sadly they were a size too small, so all I could do was take a picture and admire. I did pick up the perfect dress for the holidays, that I'm sure I'll share on Instagram next month!

We ended the day at Pinstripes, DC Bocce Ball, Bistro and Bowling Alley.

Y'all, if you've never been to a Pinstripes, plan a trip now!! It's not your typical bowling alley. There's a restaurant, bar, event spaces upstairs, bowling alley and bocce ball. They have it all! Including outdoor seating and fire pits! Sadly it was raining, so we couldn't enjoy the fire pit. But I'm definitely planning a trip back before it gets too cold!

The space is well designed, with a more gentlemen's lounge type feel. They offer a huge brunch on the weekends, and let me tell you... the food was incredible! I had these filet sliders. Oh.My.Gosh. I could have eaten ten of those.

They also offered us warm, spiked apple cider. It was so necessary after a day of walking through a rainy, cold Georgetown! It was the perfect way to end the day!

A BIG THANK YOU to all the stores who partnered for the Georgetown Blogger Crawl AND to Guest of a Guest + Spicy Candy DC for hosting such a fabulous day!
