Happy October loves!!

We already know my obsession with all things fall, so I decided to let y'all off the hook from another "my favorite fall things" post or one that features how much I love a good PSL. Over the next three weeks I will be traveling to three different cities, for three different types of occasions. My travels will be action packed, kicking off in my hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. I couldn't be more excited for some family time, good home cooking, seeing some old college friends and of course cheering on my VOLS! Then in two weeks I'll be heading to the windy city. I've never been to Chicago (recommendations please), but I am already preparing myself for wearing my hair up most days and making sure I have a decent coat to keep me warm. Rounding out my travels is a weekend in the opposite end of Tennessee, Memphis. My sorority big sister will be getting married, and I'm so honored to stand by her side on her big day!!

To help make sure I survive the next three weeks I put together a spread of a few of my favorite travel essentials. First you have to have sturdy luggage to hold everything you take with you and all the goodies you bring home. I absolutely LOVE this DVF rolling suitcase and even better, it fits carry on qualifications! To save room in my duffel or carry on I'll wear my coat, scarf or any heavy items, like jeans. I also try to save room by bringing some staples I can switch out, like several good chambray shirts to wear under vests or cardies. Since I'm going to be on the go so much, traveling from airport to hotel... airport to home... work to airport (you get it) i'm going to need some major reinforcements. Most importantly making sure my phone stays charged so I can share photos from my travels on Instagram... duhhhh! Even more so I gotta make sure I stay energized... you can only drink so many PSLs in one day (I couldn't resist throwing this in here). My favorite energy saver is a Balance Bar, cookie dough style.

All of these fall traveling essentials will get me through the next few weeks. Anything I'm missing before I start packing tonight?

P.S. Don't forget to enter to win your own Lionesse Beauty Bar hair straightener, featured in yesterday's post! Valued at $300, this is one giveaway you don't want to miss out on!
