Over the Weekend, Georgetown Style

This past weekend brought some slightly warmer temps, and when I say warmer, I mean we finally made it above the freezing mark. To enjoy the weather, I met up with my friend Sarah in my favorite part of the District, Georgetown.

Georgetown is a quaint part of DC, with cobblestone sidewalks, colorful row houses and precious little boutiques and cafes. If you ever visit DC, an afternoon stroll through Georgetown should be at the top of your to-do list.

Sarah and I met for an event at Patisserie Poupon, to meet The College Prepster, hosted by BAC with Hosting and Toasting. The College Prepster, Carly Heitlinger, is a well-known blogger from NYC who also attended Georgetown University here in DC. As someone who is new to the "blogging world," it was great to meet an experienced blogger and learn more about how she got her start.

BAC had precious cookies made from Monumental Sweets, flowers from UrbanStems DC and navy/pink decor from Nico and Lala for the event. Everything was so cute and well put together.

To finish off the afternoon in Georgetown, Sarah offered to take some pics of my outfit and some new shots for my blog. She's such a pro; telling me to do this pose, make this face and look this way. Thanks Sarah for the wonderful new photos!!

Check out all the shots from our Saturday afternoon in Georgetown!
